Mercy Ministries are designed to meet and reach people at their point of need. These
ministries introduce people to The River, provide long
term help, or provide temporary help during a traumatic life event.
Helping Hands
Leader: Jacqui Fatka
This is a ministry designed to help people through short term time of need, such as when there is
a birth or death in the family, moving, or when unexpected circumstances in life present
challenges to daily functioning. Some of the services this ministry attempts to provide are
meals, transportation, babysitting, and more. However, the ministy is only as effective as its
volunteers. Please let Jacqui know that she can rely on you if someone in the church needs help.
Outreach Events
Leader: Varies by Event
Outreach Events is a large category that includes Family Fun Nights, the Delaware Christmas and
4th of July Parades, the Annual Golf Outing, and much more! The River encourages church wide
participation in the Outreach Events. For more information about specific upcoming events, check out
