The River does many things to connect with the people in our community. Maybe a friend has talked to you about The River or you have seen The River in action.

We have great Events & Outreaches that happen all year round. We have a Car Rally in May, and we participate in the Delaware July 4th Parade (this year we distributed 4,000 bottles of cold water). We hold a Community Fun Day, have a large entry in the Christmas Parade, and host a Family Fun Night in October.

We do Campaigns and Seminars to help strengthen people and families in the community. From the Purpose Driven Life to Personal Health Seminars we are helping the lifestyle of everyday people.

We do Fellowship Events to build relationships and friendships. We have a Family Fall Round-up, a Trap Shoot, Reunion Sunday, the Women’s Christmas Brunch, the Ladies’ Tea, a Golf Outing, and a Women’s Summer Overnight.

We have Small Groups that meet during Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters. The Small Groups may include, but are not limited to: Alpha, Softball and other athletics, Bible Study, Games & Hobbies, Life Improvement Classes and more.

We have an excellent Sunday Worship experience. Great Children’s and Teen Ministry.

We provide Ministry opportunities that can provide a home, help and healing to those in the community. These ministries include: Children’s Ministry, Teen Ministry, Better Way Inner City Ministry, Mission trips to India and Africa, Celebrate Recovery (future), and a Fire Chaplaincy for Tri-Township Fire Department.
