The River loves children and has devoted a substantial amount of time and resources into making Sunday mornings an entertaining
and instructive experience.
Children’s Ministry Classes are offered during the second part of the worship service, during the singing and announcement
children remain in the sanctuary with their parents. The exception is the Nursery which is open for the entirety of the services,
though parents are welcome to keep their young children with them.
The River is committed to equipping our children with Biblical teachings and applications. We use the FaithWeaver curriculum,
which blends Scripture, hands-on learning and everyday applications for each grade level.
We have Sunday School classes for ages 3 up to 5th grade. Classes are held after the opening worship time, approximately for
35-45 minutes.
Class divisions for 2nd service:
Pre-K - K (Ages 3-6 )
1st-3rd grade
4-5th grade
Teenagers do not have a Sunday School Class, but are asked to remain in the service with their parents. Pastor Bob is an
energetic and engaging speaker who can hold the attention of youths with dynamic and challenging teachings. There is a youth
group – The Flood – held on Sunday nights for young people in sixth grade through high school. Find out more about The Flood!
