To go into the entire world to make disciples.

The River Community Church is committed to the mission of the Christian Church to make disciples as Jesus commissioned in the church in Matthew 28:19-20: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Reaching the Unreached

This is good and pleases God our Savior, for he wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message that God gave to the world at the proper time.

The River is a culturally relevant fellowship using music, terminology and outreach methods that are in touch with the felt needs of our community.

Principles of Ministry

1. Giving people a purpose in life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Providing a home for healing and restoration for families and individuals.
3. Training people for success in ministry, in their families and communities, at school, in business, and life.
4. Being a base for ministry action by families and individuals.
